Malta Strengthens Sporting Ties with Chinese Taipei

The Malta University Sport Association (MUSA), together with the Malta Shooting Sport Federation (MSSF), has taken an important step towards strengthening international sporting relations during an official visit to Chinese Taipei.

Representatives from both Maltese organisations held discussions with H.E. Wu-Tien Chen, President of the Chinese Taipei Shooting Association, and Secretary General Kuan-Wen Huang.

The meeting focused on identifying potential areas of cooperation, exchanging experiences and exploring future partnerships in shooting sport and university sport.

Discussions also highlighted the importance of international collaboration in supporting athlete development, improving sporting opportunities and encouraging the exchange of knowledge between organisations.

The initiative reflects Malta’s continued commitment to building meaningful relationships with international sporting bodies while creating new opportunities for local athletes.

Both Maltese organisations expressed optimism about developing stronger ties with Chinese Taipei, paving the way for future cooperation that could benefit athletes, coaches and the wider sporting community.
