Malta’s Young Tennis Players Compete at European U16 Championships

Malta was represented at the U16 European Tennis Championships in Parma, Italy, by four promising young players: Maryia Magro, Ema Jade Vella, Kelian Lawrence and Jan Parascandolo.

The championships provided the Maltese players with valuable international experience, allowing them to compete against some of Europe’s emerging tennis talents and test their abilities on a major stage.

Coach Dev Fazal led the team throughout the competition, guiding the players as they proudly represented their country.

The tournament marked an important opportunity for Malta’s young athletes to gain experience, develop their skills and build confidence while competing at European level.

The participation of the four players also highlights the continued involvement of Maltese youth tennis in international competitions and provides a platform for their future development.
