Malta’s Turbo Chicks, Antonella Bianco, Dzintra Grech, Paula Grech and Sarah Mifsud, finished 3rd in the relay division at the Deadly Dozen World Championships in London last weekend.
The Maltese contingent was one of the most talked-about groups heading into race day, with more than 2,000 competitors set to storm the start line, the field is overflowing with global stars.
Their performances throughout the season have earned them recognition as genuine podium contenders against heavyweight squads from England, Scotland, Germany and the United States.
The group of four cruised to a 3rd place finish, strengthening their reputation for cohesion, grit and late‑race surges.
