Malta Premier League Backs Pink October Movember Campaign for Third Consecutive Year

The VBET Malta Premier League will once again support the Pink October Movember Malta 2026 campaign, marking the third consecutive year of its involvement in the national initiative led by The Marigold Foundation.
As part of the campaign, players in the starting line-ups during Match Weeks 10 and 11 will wear specially dedicated shirts during their pre-match walkouts, demonstrating solidarity with those affected by cancer.
Volunteers from The Marigold Foundation will also collect donations during two high-profile fixtures, Valletta against Ħamrun Spartans this Sunday and Floriana against Valletta the following weekend.
The initiative aims to raise awareness about five common cancers affecting men and women across Malta and Gozo.
These include breast, cervical and ovarian cancers among women, together with prostate and testicular cancers among men.
Through education, prevention and regular screening, the campaign encourages individuals to recognise potential warning signs and seek medical advice promptly.
The Malta Premier League's continued involvement highlights football's important role in supporting community initiatives beyond the pitch.
Supporters attending the matches will have an opportunity to contribute towards the campaign while helping spread an important message about cancer awareness and early detection.
