Malta National Team Players Hand Out Free Tickets at University of Malta

Members of the Malta national football team visited the University of Malta campus yesterday, distributing complimentary match tickets to students in the lead-up to their upcoming fixture against the Luxembourg national football team.

The initiative was organised in collaboration with KSU - Kunsill Studenti Universitarji and supporters’ group South End Core, with the aim of engaging the student community and encouraging attendance at what is set to be a significant encounter for Maltese football.

Malta is preparing to contest a UEFA Nations League Play-Off under the leadership of head coach Emilio De Leo. The two-legged tie against Luxembourg presents an opportunity for the national side to secure promotion to League C, a milestone the team has yet to achieve.

The first leg will be held at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium on Thursday 26th March at 18:00, while the return leg is scheduled for Tuesday 31st March at the Stade de Luxembourg.

As anticipation builds, the initiative reflects a growing effort to rally support and inspire fans to stand firmly behind the boys in red.
