The Men and Women's Handball National Teams both recorded victories at the Calise Cup currently being held in Gaeta, Italy.
The women's beach handball team faced Tilburg yesterday morning, delivering a commanding performance and winning the match with a dominant 23-10 in the first set and 22-8 in the second. This result marked the second win for Malta against the same team, with this year's margin showing a more dominant team performance.
The men's team continued their strong run after beating Italy's Colosseum Handball 2-0 in the Group B third round yesterday evening, with sets of 16-14 and 24-14 helping the Maltese side to the win.
