Malta Handball Gears Up For Final Weekend

The Malta Handball Association (MHA) announced that the closing weekend of the 2025/2026 season will take place on 25–26 April 2026, with the EHF Level 2 Coaching sessions set to commence on Friday 24 April. The weekend brings together the best of local competition, international officiating, and elite coach education.
The League Champions and Knock-Out Cup winners from each age category will compete in a championship final, giving all players the chance to fight for silverware.
The U15 boys will set the ball rolling on Saturday 25th at 12:30, followed by the U15 girls at 14:00. These will be followed by the female and male senior games, at 15:30 and 17:30, respectively. The final two matches take place on Sunday morning, with the U17 girls at 09:00, followed by the U19 men at 11:00, wrapping up the last series of competitive matches for the 2025/2026 season, all set to take place at the University Sports Hall.
Apart from the highly anticipated season finale, EHF expert Luís Santos will be in Malta from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th April, delivering sessions as part of the MHA's Level 2 Coaching Course, highlighting the healthy mix between exciting competition and learning opportunities fostered by the association.
Ahead of the weekend finale, MHA President, Daniel Tabone anticipates a weekend of "competitive handball, high standards of officiating, and a commitment to developing our coaches," empahasising the association's holistic progress as part of the implementation of their Masterplan with the European Handball Federation.
