Malta Handball Association Represented At Paris World Games

Malta's Under-17 girls' and Under-19 boys' handball teams are competing at the 2026 edition of the Paris World Games, taking place in Paris from 6 to 11 July, representing the Malta Handball Association (MHA) at one of Europe's foremost youth sporting events.
The Paris World Games brings together young athletes from more than sixty countries across football, basketball, rugby sevens and handball, and is renowned for attracting high-profile clubs and academies from across the world, with handball matches contested at more than ten venues in and around Paris.
The week opens with the event's traditional ceremony on the River Seine, where each delegation will be flying the flag of its country and club.
Participation in a tournament of this calibre offers Malta's young handball players the opportunity to test themselves against strong international opposition, gain valuable competitive experience, and represent Maltese handball on a prestigious stage. Newly elected MHA President Vladimiro Comodini highlighted this, remarking that "beyond the results, this is above all a developmental experience — the chance to compete against quality opposition, learn, and grow both as athletes and as a group.”
The MHA thanked SportMalta, VisitMalta and the Maltese Olympic Committee for their continued support, without which participation in such international events would not be possible.
