Malta FA’s Dr Matthew Paris Appointed to FIFA Futsal Committee

The Malta Football Association (MFA) has announced that Dr Matthew Paris, Senior Vice-President of the Association, has been appointed as a member of the FIFA Futsal Committee for the 2025–2029 term.

This prestigious appointment highlights the growth of futsal in Malta and underscores the MFA’s dedication to contributing to the sport at an international level. Dr Paris is one of 19 global football experts selected by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and General Secretary Mattias Grafstrom to serve on the committee.

The FIFA Futsal Committee plays a key role in developing and promoting futsal worldwide, providing guidance on regulations, tournaments, and strategic initiatives. Dr Paris’s inclusion reflects his expertise and the recognition of Malta’s growing presence in the futsal community.
