Malta FA celebrates youth football excellence at BNF Awards Night

The Malta FA hosted the BNF Awards Night at the National Football Centre in Ta’ Qali, recognising teams and players across all youth categories after an intense and development‑focused 2025/26 season. The event brought together club representatives, BNF Bank officials, senior Malta FA leadership and coaches from the Technical Centre.

Awards covered all levels of the BNF youth structure, including Under‑14 teams, Under‑15 winners, Under‑17 champions, Women’s U16 winners, top scorers and fair play awards.

In the Under‑15 category, Valletta, Balzan, Qormi and Mtarfa won their respective leagues, with Pietà Hotspurs lifting the Knockout. Melita, Mellieħa and Mġarr earned promotion. At Under‑17 level, Valletta, Hibernians, Rabat Ajax and Attard claimed league titles, while Birkirkara, Luqa St Andrew’s and Msida St Joseph secured promotion.

Swieqi ZSP dominated the Women’s U16 competitions, winning both league and knockout. Among top scorers, standout performers included Andreas Mangion, Luca Sciberras, Edward Craig Schembri, Mattias Portelli, Katrina Catania, Martina Montebello Caruana, Mathias Borg, Jayden Roe, Timmy Sciberras and Isaac Borg.

Fair Play honours went to Żejtun Corinthians, Hibernians Women and Hibernians U17. The Malta FA thanked BNF Bank for its continued support in nurturing the next generation of Maltese football talent.
