MALTA FA AND WÜRTH MALTA EXTEND PARTNERSHIP TO 2027

The Malta Football Association (MFA) and Würth Malta have announced a new two-year extension of their sponsorship agreement, ensuring continued support for match officials across all levels of Maltese football until 2027. The renewal was formalised during a signing ceremony held on 27th November at the Centenary Hall, with MFA General Secretary Dr Maria Azzopardi and Würth Malta Managing Director Arthur Calleja representing the two organisations.

Since 1970, Würth has been a global supporter of sports, embodying values of commitment, teamwork, and excellence. These principles resonate strongly with the role of match officials, who safeguard the integrity and smooth running of the game. The extended agreement builds on the successful collaboration from 2023–2025, reaffirming Würth’s dedication to Maltese football.

Under the renewed deal, the Würth logo will continue to feature on officials’ kits in men’s and women’s divisions, youth categories, and futsal leagues. Dr Azzopardi highlighted the importance of investing in referees’ development, while Mr Calleja praised the partnership as a reflection of discipline and professionalism.
