Malta once again proved its dominance in the combat sports arena as the 10th edition of The Arena Promotions (TAP) – Reloaded Showdown packed the venue to capacity last Saturday. Fans were treated to a thrilling line-up of national and international bouts featuring athletes from Malta, Greece, Italy, and Colombia.

Maltese fighters delivered standout performances, demonstrating skill, determination, and resilience to claim victories in several key matches. Highlights included Redeemer Abdilla and Zack Calleja capturing national titles, while Mauro Borg and Anthony Fieres impressed with dominant wins.

In kickboxing, Micheal Bonnici secured the WKA Mediterranean title, and Jean Attard and Shanaia Debono Falzon triumphed in their divisions.

The event also celebrated a decade of successful promotions under Simon Chetcuti, who thanked clubs, athletes, coaches, fans, and sponsors for their unwavering support. “Your belief in The Arena Promotions drives combat sports forward in Malta,” he said.

With professional matchups, high-calibre athletes, and expert organisation, TAP continues to raise the profile of combat sports in Malta. The Reloaded Showdown 2025 not only entertained spectators but also reinforced the country’s growing reputation as a hub for elite fighters.

The Arena Promotions remains a platform where skill, courage, and determination converge, truly a place where warriors are born.
