Malta has successfully hosted the M25 Malta and W35 Malta international tennis tournaments, bringing together 170 international players at Marsa Sports Club between 25th October and 1st November.

Organised by the Malta Tennis and Padel Federation, the two competitions featured a combined prize fund of US$60,000, with players competing for valuable world-ranking points and professional experience.

The tournaments concluded with four champions crowned over the weekend. Greece's Valentini Grammatikopoulou won the women's W35 singles title, defeating Poland's Weronika Ewald 6–4, 6–3, while Ukraine's Georgii Kravchenko claimed the men's M25 crown with a 6–4, 7–6 victory over Germany's Daniel Masur.

In the doubles competitions, Esther Adeshina and Grammatikopoulou won the women's title, while Eleftherios Neos and Petros Tsitsipas emerged victorious in the men's event.

The successful organisation required months of preparation and extensive coordination, led by Federation President Dr Marc Gingell Littlejohn and Tournament Director Carol Agius, alongside World Tennis officials and Marsa Sports Club.

Beyond the sporting action, the tournaments highlighted Malta's potential to attract major international sporting events, contributing to tourism while offering valuable opportunities for local players and officials.

Supported by World Tennis, VisitMalta, SportsMalta, Marsa Sports Club and commercial partners, the event marks another important milestone for professional tennis in Malta, with the Federation expressing its ambition to welcome further international competitions to the island.
