Malta 2027 brand launch marks a defining moment for the Commonwealth Youth Games

Malta has officially unveiled the logo and brand identity for the 2027 Commonwealth Youth Games, a milestone that signals the start of the final build‑up to the event, which will take place across Malta and Gozo from 29 October to 4 November 2027.
Designed by Maltese creative agency Concept Stadium, the logo draws inspiration from the island’s limestone heritage, the vibrant colours of the traditional luzzu, the energy of the village festa, and the rhythms of Mediterranean coastal life. These elements blend through shifting colour gradients that evoke waves, sunlight and sporting dynamism, reflecting the Games’ narrative: “Where Sport Meets Culture.”
The launch event brought together young Maltese athletes and representatives from the eight sports that will feature in 2027, highlighting the Games’ mission to inspire the next generation. Triathlete Kai Azzopardi spoke of the life‑changing impact of competing in 2023, emphasising how a home Games shows young Maltese athletes that “the world stage isn’t far away it’s right here.”
Commonwealth Sport Malta President Julian Pace Bonello, CEO Katie Sadleir, and Minister for Education and Sport Dr Byron Camilleri all underlined the significance of hosting such an event not only as a sporting celebration, but as a national moment of pride and opportunity.
