Dr Lydia Abela greeted athletes at the Special Olympics European Swimming Open Malta 2026, beinging together 400 athletes from 37 countries for an unforgettable experience.
Dr Abela referred to the competition as "a celebration of every athlete’s abilities and of the values of inclusion that Malta holds so strongly," providing all athletes to express themselves on this special occasion.
The special olympics are now in full bloom in Malta, with all athletes eager to give their best in the competition.
