Luca Suda Joins Liverpool Futsal Club

Maltese futsal talent Luca Suda has taken a significant step in his sporting journey after signing with Liverpool Futsal Club, competing in Tier One of English futsal. The 18‑year‑old described the move as a new chapter he is grateful for, embracing the opportunity to work hard and enjoy the path ahead.

Suda’s rise has been steady and impressive. He began his futsal career with the Malta U17 national team, gaining valuable experience in the domestic league before progressing to the U19 squad. His development continued on the international stage, representing Malta in the U19 Euros. Following the tournament, he joined Swieqi United Futsal, where he played a key role in helping the team secure a strong second‑place finish in the Maltese league.

Last September, Suda moved to Liverpool to pursue his university studies, opening the door to join the city’s futsal club. Liverpool currently sit sixth in the Tier One standings, with the top four qualifying for the semi‑finals and finals, and ultimately a Champions League qualifying spot.
