Luca Camilleri speaks out after Jurgen Pisani sentencing

Luca Camilleri has spoken out after former teammate Jurgen Pisani was sentenced to 15 months in prison for attempted corruption.

Camilleri highlighted that "any act of corruption should never be accepted, in any form. But as Jurgen’s friend, I have to speak." He voiced his opinion regarding the matter, and claimed that the sentence is simply too harsh, and that such sentences should be reserved "for individuals who are genuinely dangerous to society."

He also refused to remain passive and watch "a man be destroyed," while there other criminals who deserve such sentences.

Luca's declaration "I stand with Jurgen" highlights his full support for his former teammate, showing that such bonds go beyond the football pitch.
