Louise Pisani crowned Community World Champion after landmark podium finishes in Australia

Louise Pisani achieved a historic breakthrough for Maltese obstacle course racing after a sensational showing at the OCR Community‑Based World Championships in Australia. She became the first Maltese female athlete to secure a podium finish at this level, marking a defining moment for the sport in Malta.

Pisani delivered a dominant performance in the 15km Age Group (40–44), earning the title of Community World Champion, while also placing an impressive 5th overall among all female competitors, including professionals. Her success continued in the shorter format, where she claimed silver and the Vice World Champion title in the 3km (40–49) category.

Representing Malta alongside Clayton Abela and Luigi Grech both finishing inside the top six in the elite division Pisani proudly raised the Maltese flag in Australia, delivering one of the nation’s most significant international OCR achievements.
