Argentine right back Leandro Lacunza signed for Hibenians FC after establishing himself as one of the best right backs in the Premier League during his two seasons with Birkirkara FC.
The Paolites are showing serious intent in their summer transfer window, securing another quality player after signing Maltese International and footballer of the year Joseph Mbong, reflecting the club's ambition to bounce back after a disappointing season which saw them finish in the bottom 6 twice.
Lacunza is expected to boost the whites' defensive line, while providing an attacking threat going forward, with the Argentine set to begin his third season in Malta's top flight and his first away from Birkirkara FC.
