Another action-packed week in the FMA Enemed Futsal League delivered high drama, standout performances, and the first defeat of the season for league leaders University of Malta Futsal, who fell 5-3 to a resurgent Luxol St. Andrews Futsal.

GŻR Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s Futsal set the tone early with a commanding 9-2 victory over Futsal Selection U17, effectively sealing the match by half-time with a dominant 7-0 lead. Their attacking display keeps them firmly in the chase near the top of the table.

There was also a crucial win for Futsal Selection U19, who overcame Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness 5-1. The result lifts the U19 side to six points and above their opponents, marking an important step in their campaign.

Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA produced one of the week’s most emphatic performances, defeating Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal 12-2. Abuaisha Nezar Fawzi stole the spotlight with a remarkable six-goal haul, helping Żejtun consolidate their top‑five position.

The headline clash saw Luxol end the unbeaten run of the reigning champions. Despite University of Malta leading 3-1 at one stage, Luxol mounted a spirited comeback, with Sant’Anna Coriolano Leanderson and Maicon inspiring a second‑half turnaround.

After this round, University of Malta remain top on 18 points, but Luxol—on 15 points with two games in hand have reignited the title race.
