Kyron Attard & Julian Attard Make Team Noel Proud In Belfast

Team Noel fighters Kyron Attard and Julian Attard delivered impressive performances in Belfast, proudly representing Malta on the international stage.

Kyron Attard secured a second-round technical knockout victory, an especially notable achievement given that this was only his third fight. He displayed excellent composure, determination, and technical ability throughout the contest, reflecting the hard work and dedication he has shown in training.

Julian Attard faced a highly experienced opponent and produced a courageous and determined performance from the opening bell to the final round. Although Julian lost the contest on points, he demonstrated excellent technique, heart, and fighting spirit throughout the bout and earned recognition for his performance.

Adding to the challenge, both fighters accepted the opportunity with just four days’ notice to travel to Belfast and compete.

Coach Noel Mercieca commented that "I am extremely proud of both fighters. While results are an important part of competition, their courage, discipline, dedication, and willingness to step into the ring and give everything they had are what make these performances particularly special."
