KIMI BUGEJA DOMINATES ISLAND KARTING CLUB MALTESE CHAMPIONSHIP DEBUT

Fresh off a Sicilian Championship victory, Kimi Bugeja made a sensational debut in the Island Karting Club Maltese Championship, delivering a flawless performance despite limited preparation and recent illness. With only three training sessions on Saturday and recovering from a week-long fever, Kimi showcased remarkable resilience and talent.

Thanks to the trust and support of Dino Castorina and Michele Lenzo, Kimi raced with a Lenzokart chassis and LKE engines, proving unstoppable throughout the event. He qualified in P1, dominated the pre-final with the fastest lap, and sealed the final with another fastest lap, completing a perfect hat-trick.

Kimi expressed gratitude to the Lenzokart factory team, Antonio Scaffidi and Frank Van Der Windt for engine tuning, and Lucas Pace for valuable tips under the tent. This total domination marks a promising start for Kimi in the Maltese championship, setting high expectations for the season ahead.
