Competing against a strong international field, Sultana once again demonstrated his growing stature on the professional circuit.
After receiving a first‑round bye, Sultana opened his campaign with a confident 3–0 victory over Gianluca Bushell‑O’Connor, winning 12–10, 11–4, 11–2. He followed this with one of the standout performances of the tournament, defeating top seed Brendan MacDonald in a hard‑fought 3–1 semi‑final (11–8, 11–13, 11–9, 11–5), securing his place in the championship match.
In the final, Sultana made a strong start by taking the opening game against James Lloyd, but his opponent rallied to win the match 3–1. Despite the result, Sultana’s runner‑up finish marks another encouraging milestone in his international career.
