A pivotal week in Maltese futsal delivered major shifts across both the women’s and men’s competitions, with crucial victories and historic moments shaping the latest standings.

In the women’s league, Parr Mela Rockets Futsal celebrated their first-ever win, defeating St Andrews Futsal 3–1 after overturning an early deficit. League leaders Zero Sei Futsal maintained their unbeaten run with a commanding 7–1 victory over Swieqi United Futsal LECO7, securing their playoff spot and moving within four points of guaranteeing first place. In the week’s tightest contest, St George’s Futsal edged Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus 3–2, thanks to a brace from Estefany Colmenarez, confirming their playoff qualification.

Matchweek 7 now sees Zero Sei on 19 points, followed by St George’s (14), Luxol (13), Swieqi (7), Parr Mela Rockets (4), and St Andrews (3).

The men’s league featured five matches, with Luxol St Andrews FC Futsal enjoying a perfect week—winning 13–0 against Malta FA U18 and 5–1 against GZR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s—to move joint top with the University of Malta Students Futsal Team. Elsewhere, Malta FA U17 earned their first win, Marsaskala Futsal Legends beat Żejtun 8–4 to secure third place, and the University of Malta defeated Sliema 3–0.
