Kai Azzopardi & Ryan Muscat Produce Strong Performances At 2026 World Triathlon Development Regional Cup

Malta was proudly represented by young triathletes Kai Azzopardi and Ryan Muscat at the 2026 World Triathlon Development Regional Cup held in Mamaia, Romania, on the 30th of May 2026, where they competed against talented athletes from across Europe.

The Sprint Triathlon event provided an excellent opportunity for both athletes to gain valuable international racing experience and test themselves against a highly competitive field of 54 athletes.

Kai Azzopardi placed 14th overall with a time of 56:32, while Ryan Muscat placed 31st overall with a time of 1:00:55.

The Malta Triathlon community congratulated both athletes on their performances and dedication, with their hard work paying off in such prestigious international competitions.
