Jean Claude Micallef Shares ‘Maltin Rebbieħa’ Vision with Chinese Ambassador

Jean Claude Micallef continued to promote his vision “Maltin Rebbieħa” as he met with the Chinese Ambassador to Malta, H.E. Zhang Zuo, to discuss future collaboration in sports development. Micallef expressed satisfaction at sharing his proposals with a nation renowned for its sporting success, noting that China’s willingness to cooperate reflects the potential for Malta to strengthen its athletic structures and ambitions.

During the meeting, Micallef emphasised that international partnerships can play a crucial role in elevating Maltese athletes and enhancing the country’s sporting ecosystem. He stated that, should he be entrusted with the role of Secretary General of the Maltese Olympic Committee after the March 25 election, he is committed to pursuing projects that deliver direct benefits to athletes.

Micallef reiterated that “Maltin Rebbieħa” is built on pride, progress and unity a vision aimed at empowering Maltese athletes to reach new heights and represent the nation with confidence and success.
