Jean Claude Faenza Completes Hyrox Bologna In Impressive Time

Maltese Hyrox athlete Jean Claude Faenza delivered a standout performance at the Hyrox Bologna challenge, completing the race in an impressive 1:00:41. The result marks a significant milestone in his training and progression in the sport.
Faenza shared his experience on Instagram, revealing that the race marked a turning point for him. “Finally something clicked for me in the race. My body felt ready again. Everything started making sense, not just physically but mentally too,” he wrote. He highlighted the adjustments he has made to his training around a demanding four-shift schedule, moving his toughest sessions to his days off, and waking up as early as 3:50am for his first session.
Despite not being a full-time athlete, Faenza said he has learned to listen to his body rather than forcing progress, a change he believes will sustain long-term improvements. “Physique is coming back. Confidence is coming back. And I’m building something that actually fits my life,” he noted.
Faenza has set his sights on a new goal: completing a Hyrox challenge in under one hour. With his current trajectory and disciplined approach, it is clear he is getting closer to achieving this target, supported by his team and a determined mindset.
