Jake Vassallo And Mosta FC Share A Moment Of Respect Before Mosta vs Birkirkara

Jake Vassallo and Mosta FC shared a moment of respect before Birkirkara and Mosta's Malta Premier fixture, with the former Blues captain reuniting with his former club.

Vassallo left the Blues at the end of last season, helping Mosta retain Premier League status in a challenging campaign for the northern side.

He went through the ranks of Mosta's nursery, before joining Pietà Hotspurs, winning the Under 15 Section A and Knockout titles, before returning with his boyhood club as an Under 17 player.

He then broke into the minors and senior teams, even becoming the captain. With Mosta, Jake reached an FA Trophy semi-final in 2023, and was nominated for the best young player award on multiple occasions.

The gesture shows the mutual respect between the player and the club, with Jake showing gratitude to Mosta FC for giving him a chance and helping him play top flight football here in Malta.
