Jake Engerer Signs For Swieqi United FC

Jake Engerer has signed for Swieqi United FC after winning the Challenge League last season, aiming to repeat last season's success with his new club.

Engerer has alread won the Challenge League twice, first with Sliema Wanderers in 2023 and then with Balzan FC last season, securing Balzan's return to top flight football after a year of absence.

Jake also won the FA Trophy with Sliema Wanderers in 2024, where he even featured in Sliema's penalty shootout win over Floriana in the final.

The former Malta Under 21 international adds defensive security and an attacking threat to Liam Mangion's team, as Swieqi attempt to clinch promotion once again after narrowly missing out on a place in Malta's top flight after losing to Birzebbuga St Peter's on penalties in a promotion decider.
