Inspector Raymond Azzopardi completes LifeCycle Challenge 2026

Inspector Raymond Joseph Azzopardi has successfully completed the LifeCycle Challenge 2026, a demanding 10‑day endurance ride spanning Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. The Maltese police officer joined participants from across Europe in one of the organisation’s toughest routes to date, covering vast terrain, steep climbs and shifting weather conditions across East Africa.

The challenge began in Kenya, continued through Uganda’s rural and mountainous regions, and concluded in Rwanda, where riders crossed the finish line after days of intense physical and mental effort. Azzopardi’s achievement reflects exceptional determination, discipline and resilience qualities that mirror his professional commitment within the Malta Police Force.

The LifeCycle Challenge is renowned for its difficulty, requiring months of preparation and unwavering focus. Completing it is considered a significant personal milestone, and Azzopardi’s success has been met with warm congratulations from colleagues and supporters.
