ICO Malta Celebrates Landmark First Official Kickboxing Grading at Boom Combat Forge

ICO Malta’s first official kickboxing grading has set a new benchmark for structured martial arts development in the country, with 20 Boom Combat Forge students successfully completing their assessments. The grading evaluated each participant’s technique, knowledge, discipline, and controlled sparring, highlighting the steady progress and commitment within Malta’s growing kickboxing community.

A standout moment came from 4‑year‑old Thomas Bordeniuc, whose exceptional technique, confidence, and sparring ability earned him two additional tabs alongside his grade an extraordinary achievement for such a young athlete and a proud moment for the academy.

The event was strengthened by the presence of ICO Official Stuart Lowe from Scotland, who travelled to Malta to support the grading and share his extensive expertise. His involvement added international credibility and reinforced the importance of structured progression within ICO Malta.
