Hibernians Target Return to Winning Ways Against Birżebbuġa St Peter’s

Hibernians will be aiming to return to winning ways when they face Birżebbuġa St Peter’s this afternoon at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 3.30pm.

The Paolites enter the encounter following an entertaining 2-2 draw against Ħamrun Spartans last weekend and will be determined to build on that performance.

Hibernians have collected six points from seven matches, registering one victory, three draws and three defeats in a challenging start to their campaign.

Meanwhile, newly promoted Birżebbuġa St Peter’s remain rooted to the bottom of the standings with just one point, having suffered six defeats in seven outings.

Their latest result, a 2-2 draw against Mosta, offered some encouragement after a difficult opening to the season.

With both teams desperate for points, Hibernians will be hoping to capitalise on home advantage, while Birżebbuġa will be determined to produce an upset and secure their first league victory.
