Reigning league champions Hamrun Spartans and FA Trophy holders Hibernians are set to clash in a highly anticipated BOV Super Cup encounter tomorrow afternoon, coinciding with Malta’s public holiday.
Hamrun will be aiming to secure a historic third consecutive Super Cup triumph, while Hibernians will be looking to lift the trophy for the first time since 2022, when they edged Floriana on penalties.
The build-up to the curtain-raiser continued today with a pre-match press conference, where Hamrun head coach Giacomo Modica and captain Henry Bonello came face to face with their Hibernians counterparts, coach Branko Nišević and captain Bjorn Kristensen.
