Gzira United Football Club Express Full Confidence In President In Statement

Gzira United Football Club released a statement expressing full confidence in the club's president and everyone who works for the club amid public debate.

In a statement, the club argued that "public debate is part of every democratic society. Different opinions are legitimate and should always be respected. However, when disagreement descends into personal insults, humiliation and attempts to assassinate an individual’s character, it crosses a line that has no place in civil discourse," advocating for the protection of a person's dignity even if disagreements arise.

Gzira United declared that "every action undertaken by Gżira United has been carried out openly, transparently and in accordance with the legal rights and obligations of the Club," while stating that "we remain committed to defending those rights while continuing to invest in facilities that will benefit present and future generations of our members and supporters."

The club emphasised that "attempts to intimidate or personally target those who volunteer their time for this Club will not divert us from our mission," highlighting unity in the midst of adversity, while urging all should "stand united behind our President and everyone who works for Gżira United Football Club."
