Graham Borg Secures Maximum Points With Dominant Sprint Duathlon Win

Graham Borg closed his duathlon race series on a high, delivering a commanding performance to win his age category in the fourth and final sprint duathlon of the Federazione Italiana Triathlon season. His victory earned him maximum points in the league standings, capping off a consistent and impressive run of results.
Borg opened the race with a strong 5km run before showcasing his power on the bike leg. Despite a 60‑second gap to the leading group, he successfully bridged the distance, catching younger competitors and positioning himself for a decisive final push. He sealed the win with a solid closing 2.5km run, confirming his dominance in the category.
The result followed an eventful weekend on 21–22 March, when Borg represented Italian club Mothycense at the Italian Duathlon Championships held at the Imola Formula 1 circuit. He completed Saturday’s individual race in 1:01:00, before teaming up with Federico Cantelli and Luca Giamonna for Sunday’s Team Coppa Crono, finishing 24th out of 109 teams in 58:58.
With this successful sprint block behind him, Borg now turns his attention to a demanding triathlon season, including Half Ironman and full Ironman events.
