The rising star achieved the feat in challenging rainy and windy conditions, showcasing both resilience and impressive race maturity.

Farrugia’s run sliced 42 seconds off his previous national record, set in Valencia in 2024, further underlining his rapid progression on the international stage. His ability to thrive despite adverse weather highlights the strong form and confidence he has built over the past year.
