Futsal Malta Unveils Official Draws for 2025 Trophy Competitions

Futsal Malta brought clubs, officials, sponsors and guests together for its annual draw event, officially launching the latest editions of the Enemed Women’s Futsal Trophy and the Laferla Men’s Futsal Trophy. The gathering celebrated both competition and collaboration, highlighting the sport’s continued growth across the island.
Association President Mark Borg opened the evening by expressing gratitude to all sponsors, the Malta Football Association, club representatives and the committee members who contribute to the steady development of futsal in Malta. Borg also confirmed renewed sponsorship agreements, with Enemed supporting the women’s competition and Laferla Insurance backing the men’s tournament.
The Women’s Trophy draw produced a promising knockout bracket. Zero Sei will meet Parr Mela Rockets, with the winner advancing to face Luxol St Andrews, who received a bye. On the opposite side, Swieqi United take on Sliema, while St George’s progress automatically and await their next opponents.
In the Men’s Trophy, a competitive field was drawn. One half features University of Malta, Marsaskala Futsal Legends, Luxol St Andrews, and GŻR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s. The other half sees Żejtun Corinthians paired with MFPA U17, while Sliema Fort Fitness will face the winner between Santa Venera Lightnings and MFPA U19.
