Futsal Challenge League Finalists And Premier Semi-Finals First Leg Results Confirmed

It was an important week for Maltese futsal, confirming the finalists of the Challenge League and delivering the first results from the Premier Final Four.

In the elite futsal semifinals, University Futsal secured a 4-1 victory over Marsaskala in a match where the winners enjoyed the majority of possession. Despite the scoreline, Marsaskala showed strong defensive organization and remained competitive throughout.

In the second semifinal, Luxol St Andrews completely dominated their clash against Birżebbuġa with an emphatic 11-1 win. The reigning champions demonstrated their full strength and experience, sending a clear statement to their rivals.

The second legs of the semifinals will be played on Friday, 1st May, deciding the finalists of this year's elite futsal campaign.

In the Challenge League semifinals, Malta Futsal U19 reached their first historic final after a commanding 11-0 victory over Sliema Fort Fitness Futsal. Luke Urpani was the standout performer, scoring four goals in an excellent display.

In the other semifinal, Żejtun Corinthians defeated St Venera Lightnings 7-4 in an entertaining and goal-filled encounter. As a result, the Challenge League final will be contested between Malta Futsal U19 and Żejtun Corinthians, in what promises to be an exciting showdown for Maltese futsal fans.

Maltese futsal is set to provide spectators with an exciting end to the season as the final matches are set to take place, deciding the teams who will emerge victorious.
