Futsal 2026/27 season launched as Enemed renews main sponsorship

The 2026/27 futsal season was officially launched during an event at the Enemed Distribution Centre, where the opening fixtures for both the men’s and women’s leagues were presented. Enemed will once again serve as the main league sponsor, continuing its long-standing collaboration with the Futsal Malta Association and reinforcing its commitment to the sport’s development across the country.

This year’s men’s competition features a strong lineup, including Luxol St Andrews, University of Malta Futsal, Swieqi United, Birkirkara AFC, Lija Athletic, Marsaskala, Żejtun WAA, Naxxar Lions, Siġġiewi FC, and the U19 and U17 national selections. All opening fixtures will be played at the National Sports School between 23–27 September.

The women’s league includes Parr Mela Rockets, Mġarr United, Birkirkara FC, Birżebbuġa St Peter’s, University of Malta Futsal, and Zero Sei Women’s Futsal, with matches scheduled for 13–14 October at De La Salle College.

Futsal Malta Association President Nathaniel Jones expressed gratitude towards Enemed and the Malta FA, emphasising that their continued support is vital as the Association works to further strengthen and grow futsal in Malta.
