FSWS and Floriana FC Sign Agreement to Strengthen Youth Prevention and Life Skills

The Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS), through Agenzija Sedqa, and Floriana FC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening efforts in addiction prevention and the development of life skills among young people.

Under the agreement, Agenzija Sedqa will deliver educational and preventive interventions to Floriana FC’s Under-15 and Under-17 teams, alongside workshops for parents and legal guardians. The initiative seeks to increase awareness of the risks associated with illicit substance use and its potential impact on both personal wellbeing and sporting performance.

The three-year agreement reinforces the commitment of both entities to utilise sport as a powerful tool for education, prevention, and social wellbeing.

This collaboration highlights the important role sports clubs can play in shaping young people, not only on the pitch but also in their everyday lives, by promoting healthy lifestyles, resilience, and informed decision-making.
