Freedom FC Women have announced the signing of Océane Grange, adding significant experience and physical presence to their Serie B squad. The Franco‑Maltese defender, born in 1995, arrives as an important reinforcement for coach Vincenzo De Martino as the team prepares for a demanding second half of the campaign.

Grange brings with her a rich footballing background. Raised in the Olympique Lyonnais youth system, she went on to represent several French clubs, including Caluire, Claix, Grenoble, Brest, Nîmes, Montauban, and Roubaix‑Wervicq. Most recently, she spent six months in Belgium with SV Zulte Waregem, gaining further top‑level experience.

Her international journey has also accelerated in recent months. First called up to the Malta women’s national team in February 2025, Grange has already earned eight caps, quickly establishing herself as a reliable presence in the back line.

Freedom FC Women emphasised that Grange has integrated seamlessly into the squad and is already training regularly with her new teammates. She is expected to be available for selection for the upcoming match on Saturday, 17 January, at the Paschiero stadium in Cuneo against Trastevere.
