Former Chelsea Goalkeeper Cudicini Shares Malta Photo Dump

Taking to social media, former Chelsea FC Carlo Cudicini shared a photo dump from his most recent visit to Malta and praising the island for his experience.

‘It was short and intense, but what a pleasure to return to this wonderful island after 37 years’, wrote Cudicini.

‘Incredible people. Welcoming and super friendly’, wrote the former footballer about the local populations.

‘We hope to see many Maltesi at Stamford Bridge during the weekend of August 8th.’

Cudicini was joined by Italian professional football manager Roberto Dimatteo and Dutch professional football manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, both of whom are former players.

This forms part of a pre-season tournament feature AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen as part of the 2025 VisitMalta Weekender.

‘Taking place at Stamford Bridge on Friday 8 and Sunday 10 August, the matches will give fans an exciting opportunity to watch their teams in action as they finalise preparations for the 2025/26 season.’
