Football fans have mixed predictions regarding which national team will win the world cup, and which player will be named player of the tournament, with the semi-final matches now confirmed and set to take place next week.

France, England, Norway, and Argentina were among the countries predicted to end the tournament as world champions, with in form Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Erling Haaland as prime contenders for the golden ball award.
