Floriana Thank Fans After Brave UEFA Champions League Exit

Floriana FC have thanked their supporters for their incredible backing following the club's UEFA Champions League qualifying defeat to Irish champions Shamrock Rovers.

Despite seeing their European journey come to an end, Floriana produced a spirited performance over the two-legged tie and were in front for much of the contest before Shamrock Rovers fought back to secure qualification.

Following the match, the club shared a heartfelt message of appreciation to the fans who travelled to Ireland to support the Greens.

Floriana also praised the atmosphere created by their travelling supporters, adding that the colours, banners and constant encouragement made their section of the stadium "feel like home."

Although the result was disappointing, the team's performances throughout the tie earned praise, with the players pushing the Irish champions all the way in a closely contested battle.

The club concluded by thanking its supporters for representing Floriana with pride, as attention now turns to the remainder of the season and the next challenge ahead.
