Floriana are just one point away from securing first place in the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round, as they are set to face arch-rivals Valletta.

Tomorrow's derby may prove to be the decisive match for Floriana as they head into this highly anticipated encounter just one point away from winning the Closing Round. Floriana seek to achieve this feat after narrowly missing out on first place in the Opening Round, where they were leapfrogged by Hamrun Spartans.

Assistant coach Jean Paul Desira commented on the importance of Saturday's game, which could be the one that guarantees first place for the boys in green, while midfielder Jake Grech encouraged the green army to stay behind the team as it has always been throughout the season, remarking that together, the team is much stronger.
