Floriana FC Veterans clinch VMFA Title

Floriana FC Veterans clinched the VMFA title after beating MFPA 5-0 in a dominant display yesterday evening.

The situation at the top of the table was tense ahead of this crucial match, with the MFPA on top with 34 points and Floriana one point behind with 33 points. Floriana leapfrogged the MFPA to finish first with 36 points, two points above their direct competitors. The match was dominated by the greens, who proved too strong for their opponents on the day.

Both Floriana FC and the Veterans Malta Football Association congratulated Floriana FC Veterans for this historic triumph in the competition, with the greens taking the upper hand after a very consistent season by both Floriana FC and the MFPA.
