Floriana FC have bolstered their squad with the signing of 26-year-old Bosnian defensive midfielder Alen Kurtalić. The club is aiming to strengthen its roster ahead of the second half of the season as they target the Premier League title and FA Trophy success.

Kurtalić joins the Greens from FC Bishkek City, having previously spent several seasons at FK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he made over 100 top-flight appearances. His arrival also provides cover for Charles M’Mwombwa, who is set to represent Tanzania at the upcoming African Cup of Nations.

In an official statement, Floriana FC said: “Floriana FC is pleased to announce the signing of 26-year-old Bosnian defensive midfielder Alen Kurtalić. We welcome Alen to the Floriana family and wish him every success as he begins this new chapter in green and white.”

The club is currently leading the top group in the first stage of the Maltese Premier League, and Kurtalić’s addition is expected to reinforce their midfield as they push for honours in the upcoming months.
