Floriana FC Aims for New UEFA-Standard Stadium and Sporting Facilities

Floriana Football Club has taken a major step forward in its plans to develop a modern football stadium and supporting sports facilities.

The Club is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified developers, investors, contractors, or consortia to participate in the design, construction, and operation of a new stadium that meets UEFA technical requirements, with a minimum capacity of 4,000 spectators.

The proposed development will be located on a 19,000-square-metre site held under a government emphyteutical concession at Triq Vincenzo Dimech, adjacent to Triq il-Mall in Floriana.

Beyond the construction phase, the project will also include the management and operation of the stadium and related facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant planning, environmental, and sports regulations.

The EOI process aims to gauge interest from the private sector and assist Floriana FC in identifying competent operators while shaping a comprehensive development and operational framework. The submission of an EOI does not automatically grant negotiation or execution rights for the project.
