Matchday 7 of the BNF U15 Leagues produced a mix of drama, goals, and decisive results across both divisions. In League A, St Andrews FC reaffirmed their dominance with a stunning 11-0 demolition of Gozo FC to stay top of the table. Hevios Feruku was the star of the show, netting a hat-trick (2’, 3’, 43’), while captain Jan Grech scored four times (4’, 56’, 68’, 80’). Other goals came from Luca Nwoko (26’), Harry De Giorgio (49’), Vuk Kaljevic (77’) and Anthony Mamo (83’).

Their closest challengers, Birkirkara FC, kept the pressure on with a narrow 1-0 win over Ħamrun Spartans, courtesy of Noah Muscat’s decisive strike in the 49th minute. Meanwhile, Floriana and Pietà Hotspurs played out a tense 1-1 draw at the Rabat Ajax Ground. After a quiet first half, Jake Buhagiar gave Floriana the lead in the 65th minute, but an unfortunate own goal by Luke Mifsud in the 78th minute ensured the points were shared.

In League B, Balzan FC surged to the summit with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Sliema Wanderers. Luca Sceberras stole the headlines with a hat-trick (30’, 88’, 91’), while Kane Cassar (52’) and Kairon Micallef (82’) added to the tally. Anas Kairi Alhoush scored a late consolation for Sliema. Melita FC climbed to second after a hard-fought 4-2 win over Zabbar St Patrick. Ben Caruana Galizia struck twice (4’, 31’), with Luigi Mallia (38’) and an own goal from Braydon Grech (64’) sealing the victory. Żabbar replied through Claudio Tabone (24’) and Thomas Borg (72’), but Melita held firm to claim all three points.

With these results, St Andrews remain top of League A, just a point ahead of Birkirkara, while Balzan leapfrog Sliema to lead League B, with Melita now in second place. The title race in both divisions is heating up as teams look to maintain momentum heading into the next round.
