Floriana Aim to Close Gap at the Top as Mosta Seek Crucial Victory

Floriana will be looking to maintain their challenge near the top of the VBET Malta Premier League when they face Mosta this evening at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.

The Greens currently occupy third place with 14 points from seven matches, just three behind second-placed Marsaxlokk, who have played one game more.

Floriana enter the encounter following a 1-1 draw against Balzan, having previously registered an impressive 4-0 victory over Hibernians.

Meanwhile, Mosta sit fourth with 12 points and will be determined to close the gap on their opponents.

Mosta have drawn their last two matches, sharing the points with Birżebbuġa St Peter's and Gżira United.

With both teams competing for important positions in the standings, the encounter promises to be closely contested.

A victory for Floriana would strengthen their position among the leading sides, while Mosta will be hoping to secure a valuable result.
